In November of 2014, we stayed for three nights at Abu Camp in Botswana.  The main event at Abu Camp is the personal interaction with the resident rescued elephant herd.  However, we were lucky to have some fabulous leopard sightings as well.

Xigera, Okavango Delta, Botswana.  August 2012.  Xigera is a water based camp in the winter (our summer), which means we do the safari from the boat.  Ordinarily, the focus of a water based safari are birds, antelopes, and elephants.  To see lions feeding close to the water from the safari boat was a once in a lifetime experience.

Leopard. Chitabe.  Southeast Okavango Delta, Botswana.  August 2012.  We spotted this leopard on the way from the airport to the camp.  We then tracked the leopard as it tracked a herd of impala and attempted to get some lunch, unsuccessfully.
