I'm from New Jersey; I learned to ski in my jeans.  Ian grew up in Maryland (mostly), and after his first ski lesson, he was told that skiing wasn't for him.  We've come a long way.  Check out what keeps us going back to the big steep mountains, Snowbird in Utah and Jackson Hole in Wyoming, with lots of photos and even a video.

This past July we spent the U.S. Fourth of July holiday sipping wine in Sonoma and Napa and touring one of our favorite cities, San Francisco.  This post highlights some of the many things we love about this area of California and, of course, has lots of photos.
